A jubliant celebration was cconducted by the Mangshi local goverment, the Mangshi Party Committee of the CPC and the Mangshi Poeple’s Political Consultaive Conference to bid a farewell to the year of rabbit and embrace the new year of dragon.The ceremony was attended by more than 500 representatives from the previous leaders of Managshi, the garrison of libreation army in Mangshi, the armed police troop, model workers, entrepreneurs, retierees as well as people of all walks of the city. They gather in this joyous occasion and share their whishes and visions for a better future for Mangshi City.
The ceremony is presided over by Mr. Sha, the major of Mangshi City.On behalf of the local Party Committee of the CPC, the local government and the People’s Political Consultaive Conference, Mr. Cai, the secretary of the Mangshi Party Committee of the CPC delivered his new year greeting to all the citizens of Mangshi. In his speech, he empasised the foundamental role of the banner of communist with Chinese characteristics in the development of Mangshi City. In 2011, Mangshi City has achieved great successes in both economic and social development under the guidance of the scientifc outlook of development and through reforms in the patterns of economic growth. Those acievements have greatly enhanced the livelihood of the local people.
Mr. Cai also underlined the importance of stickiing to the spirit of Deng Xiaoping Theory, the Three Representatives Theory in a new round of development in the year of 2012. In the coming phase of develpment, Mangshi City should take the opportunity of the implementation of the national strategy of development in western regions and concentrate its efforts on the construction of Ruili nationla key economic pilot zone with unremiting resolution and persecerance.
