On January 5th, Dehong Autonomous Prefecture and the CPI Yunnan International Power Investment Corporation signed a new framework agreement, which signals a new epoch in the cooperation between Dehong and Yunnan IPIC.
The signing ceremony was attended by local and provincial officials and administrators of Yunnan IPIC.
Yunnan International Power Investment Corporation is a wholly-owned company of China Power Investment Corporation. With its Headquarter in Kunming and a registered capital of 83.5 million yuan, this corporation was established on December 8th in 2008. The company is in full charge of investment, construction and management of the electricity projects in the southwestern region of China and some parts of southwestern Asia. The company has already conducted various preliminary works in Mangshi, Longchuang and YIngjiang for future wind-power projects. Besides investment in wind-electricity development, the company will also engage in business like solar power, water power and bordering trade.
Representatives from both sides express their congratulations on the signing of this agreement and wish for future success in their cooperation in the collective efforts to develop local electricity industry.
