On the morning of December 4, an ecological ranger in Shiban village found a kind of birds that had never been seen before. From the video shot by the ecological ranger with his mobile phone, it was preliminarily judged that they are hornbills. And the number and species of the hornbill were unknown. The introduction of ecological rangers added a sense of expectation and mystery to us.
On December 2, an ecological ranger found another hornbill rest in the bamboo forrest. Therefore, rangers draw up a shooting plan.
After the discovery of Malabar Pied Hornbills, the Party Committee and the government of Wuchalu Township have attached great importance to it. They have organized forest guards and village cadres in nearby villages to set up special rhinoceros protection teams, and arranged village cadres to publicize wildlife protection knowledge, laws and regulations in villages, so as to ensure that this rare species can be protected by increasing publicity and protection efforts. We hope this rare species live and breed here smoothly, and live in harmony with human beings in Wuchalu Township.
According to the forest rangers, they have found many rare birds, monkeys, reptiles and activity signs of other animals during their tour. The Township Party Committee and the government will continue to strengthen the protection of animal and plant resources.
